1. We encourage all countries to refrain from resorting to protectionist measures.

हम सभी देशों को संरक्षणवादी उपायों से बचने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हैं।

2. We must guard against protectionist tendencies and erection of trade and economic barriers.

हमें संरक्षणवादी प्रवृत्तियों एवं ऐसी बातों का विरोध करना चाहिए जिनसे व्यापारिक एवं आर्थिक बाधाएं खड़ी होती हैं।

3. The slowdown in the advanced economies has affected our exports, strengthened protectionists sentiments and impacted credit and capital flows.

विकसित अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में आई मंदी से हमारा निर्यात प्रभावित हुआ है, संरक्षणवादी भावनाओं को बढ़ावा मिला है तथा ऋण और पूंजी का प्रवाह बाधित हुआ है।

4. In addition we also are hearing protectionist voices as previous notions about globalization bringing in all around benefits are being questioned.

इसके अतिरिक्त हम संरक्षणवादी आवाजों को भी सुन रहे हैं। वैश्वीकरण से संबद्ध पूर्व की विचारधाराओं, जिनसे चौतरफा लाभ हुआ, पर प्रश्न उठाए जा रहे हैं।

इसी बीच, अतीत में हमने, हम सभी ने, स्वेच्छा से एक प्रकार का संकल्प लिया कि हम लोग संरक्षणवादी उपायों का सहारा न लेंगे।

(a) & (b) The Government is aware that in addition to several measures taken by the United States that have adversely affected the mobility of skilled professionals from India to the United States, there is also a growing protectionist tendency against the development of international supply chain in the services industry.

(क) एवं (ख) सरकार को इस बात की जानकारी है कि भारत से अमरीका में कुशल व्यावसायिकों के आवागमन पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव डालने के संदर्भ में अमरीकी सरकार द्वारा कई उपाय किए गए हैं, और इसके अलावा सेवा उद्योग में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आपूर्ति चक्र के विरुद्ध संरक्षणवाद की बढ़ती प्रवृत्ति भी बढ़ रही है।
